This includes administering CPR while awaiting medical assistance, as well as treating minor injuries like cuts and bruises.
Do You Need First Aid Training for an SIA Licence?
Yes, as of April 1st, 2021, the SIA requires all applicants to complete an Emergency First Aid qualification before applying for their licence.
Is an Emergency First Aid Certificate Required for SIA Licence Renewal?
Yes, in addition to a valid First Aid certificate, security professionals must complete a Top-Up Training course to renew their SIA Licence after October 1st, 2021.
